InCorp Advisory Provides Cross-Border Advisory to Support NASA–ISRO NISAR Satellite Mission

Mumbai: InCorp Advisory, an Ascentium Group company, has been engaged by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration’s (NASA) Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) to provide tax and compliance advisory services in India.

The engagement supports NASA’s work on the prestigious NASA-ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) satellite mission, scheduled for launch on July 30, 2025.

InCorp Advisory’s Cross-Border Expertise Supports NISAR Mission

As part of the assignment, InCorp Advisory advised NASA JPL on Indian tax regulations, including detailed analysis of the India–US Double Tax Avoidance Agreement (DTAA), and guided compliance requirements for operations in India.

The firm also ensured appropriate tax treatment and delivered comprehensive advisory services to NASA JPL and its employees.

The NISAR project is the first joint satellite mission between NASA and ISRO (Indian Space Research Organisation). It aims to provide valuable data on global ecosystems, natural hazards, sea-level rise, and the impact of climate change.
